CAUGHT IN THE ACT
Laura (Genie Francis) believed her marriage to Scotty Baldwin (Kin Shriner) would last forever. Then Luke Spencer (Tony Geary) stormed into town and everything changed. Luke was enchanted with Laura. His passion turned into rape that night at the disco.

Scotty saw red--blood red--when he discovered Laura's letter to Luke admitting her love. Rushing to the yacht, where Luke was to wed Jennifer, he attacked him. One blow sent Luke overboard.

Luke and Laura's summer on the run will never be forgotten. Their scenes with the Whittakers (Hank Underwood and Beth Peters) in Beecher's Corners are unforgettable. The Whittakers took such a liking to Lloyd and Lucy Johnson (alias Luke and Laura) that when they finally got hitched this year, Mrs. Whittaker planned the whole affair

Producer Gloria Monty nurtured the Luke-Laura-Scotty storyline right to the top of the Nielsen charts. She often personally directs their performances.

Laura took her black wig out of storage to travel incognito with Luke and Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) on the Cassadine yacht.

Frank Smith hired hit man Max after Hutch failed to do the job. He posed as Sally, the owner of a bar in Fair Oaks. Even Luke and Laura were fooled. Then Hutch captured Laura and brought her to the statue known as the Left-handed boy.

After an exciting shootout on the city streets, with Luke pretending to be dead, Luke and Laura escaped on a motorcycle, finally outwitting The Mob.

Luke saved Port Charles from the deep-freeze and returned a hero. Although his sister Bobbi (Jackie Zeman) was glad to see him, she wondered what he'd do next.

Luke & Laura--a match made in heaven.

Once on the Cassadine island, Luke, Laura and Scorpio plotted to overthrow the Cassadines. If only they could find a way into the underground headquarters. Finally, they managed to smoke their way in.

TINSELTOWN IN PORT CHARLES!
Elizabeth Taylor Checks Into General Hospital

Tony Geary was starstruck as he stared into Liz Taylor's violet eyes. "My God, I've adored her in Cleopatra! I can't believe it!" he said.

Liz thoroughly enjoyed her stay at GH.... While portraying Helena Cassadine, Liz did her best to make everyone around her comfortable. Admits Tony Geary, "It was a joyful experience." But a national tabloid didn't see it that way. "That article hurt Liz's feelings so much. They twisted everything. It wasn't true."
