Ryan escapes from his hospital room. Making his way to the brownstone, he sneaks into Felicia's room, via an open window, and prepares to kill her. With the help of Sean and Garcia, Ryan is finally apprehended and confesses to killing Jessica. He explains how he escaped from his hospital room; and when he couldn't find Felicia or Sean, he ran into Jessica and killed her instead.

A grateful Felicia tries to get her relationship back on track. She even goes as far as accepting the marriage proposal that she already turned down. Mac decides that he must go on without Felicia and refuses her acceptance. Felicia vows to win him back.

Jagger is furious to learn about Marco's deal with Sonny and that Sonny has ordered Jagger to take a dive in his upcoming fight. Jagger refuses, until Sonny threatens Karen's life. Jagger decides to throw the fight; but as he goes down for the count, he has a change of heart, knocks out his opponent, then does the same to Sonny, before dragging Karen to Kelly's to explain everything. Karen is incredulous that Sonny threatened to harm her. Ruby lends Karen and Jagger $300, but before they can make their getaway, Sonny arrives with his goons. A quick thinking Brenda ignores her jealousy and aids Karen and Jagger's escape to the cabin. Once there, Karen explains of her abuse and how she ended up staying with Sonny and Stone. Jagger is sympathetic. After expressing his love for Karen, the two make love for the first tine. However, as a new day dawns, they both realize that it is better that they remain apart until Karen can better deal with her past.

Katherine finds it more and more difficult to resist her attraction to Scott...which does not go unnoticed by Damian. A jealous Lucy decides to look into reneging on her agreement to give up any rights to the baby she's carrying, as a way of staying a part of Scott's life.

A bitter Ned begins to set Julia up for sexual harassment. But a sharp Julia decides to turn the tables on him.

A furious Edward berates Ned for showing poor judgment in allowing Damian to buy ELQ stock. He then puts Damian on notice.

In a Canadian diner, Luke Spencer helps his son, Lucky, surprise his mother, Laura, on Halloween.
